Coorgieesss

Time for some Kodagu (Coorg) ya! As any other south Indian town, it has its own little charm. and according to me, Coorg is awesome. Like seriously.

Not just because it so cold and all ( that even Bangalore is), but because it's so calm and nice to be there! the spicy food, the beautiful people, the air that smells of brewing coffee, spices (cardamom, to be precise), arecanut, boiling , roasted corn-tops and fir leaves.

The roads are clean, saris are very specially clad, food and foodies are appreciated, encouraged.
Must visit. The chant session at the Tibetan Monsatery in Kushalanagara is fabulous and a must check! young monks playing football and also playing their trumpet overlooking the cauvery, is spectacular. Priceless, as I call it.

Coorgi food. Akki otti (rice roti), Ghee rice, Koli nalamol barthad( chicken pepper fry), Kuru curry (red bean curry in coconut stew)
