Tasty_Kitchen- Gorgeously Food-ing

Here's a recipe. I have always wanted to share recipes. My lovely, adorable grandmom (dad's mom) used to cook for me real awesome stuff when I used to be in school. The hunger pang you carry right after school is immense and her recipes and yummy snackers kept me pumped up, ALL THE TIME!!!!!
I had noted the recipe down and I tried it out now that I am all set to. Voila', it did turn up pretty good! But, it always tastes better when grandma cooks it, you know why; her 'दिल का टुकड़ा' is right in there!!

Tasty Snackers ( from grandmom’s diaries)

When there’s a nip in the air, when it’s pouring outside, this quick bite would help us enjoy it; come on, make some garma garam cardamom tea with this!

Ingredients

Onion- 1 large, finely chopped to small pieces

Green chillies – 4 large (cut tiny)

Maida- 2 cups

Salt- needed for the dough about 2 teaspoons

Egg- 1 nos.

Coriander leaves – a bunch, finely chopped

Water- needed

Oil- to deep fry

Method

Mix the maida, egg , salt and water to make a very thick paste form, which should be only a bit loose than the chapatti batter you make. Do not add excess water. This mix should be thick and not loose/ runny. Add more maida if necessary.

To this mix, add the chopped onions, chillies and coriander leaves. Heat oil in the pan and make tiny ball- forms of the batter mix and deep fry. Once golden brown fully, take them off the pan and serve with mint chutney or ketchup. This would look like the normal aloo pakoda, but you know, looks are deceiving.

Yummy, I swear!
